Anthem vs Older Pinnacle Models

Mack's Anthem represents a newer generation compared to the older Pinnacle.

It has updates to both the cab electronics and how the MP engine integrates with the mDrive transmission.

Diagnostic software and common failure points differ enough between the two that model identification matters before a tech starts troubleshooting.

mDrive Shift Patterns Worth Knowing

The mDrive transmission adjusts its shift points based on load, grade, and driving style data it collects over time.

That means two identical trucks can develop slightly different shift behavior, just from how differently they've been driven.

A shifting complaint that seems unusual isn't automatically a fault.

Sometimes it's just the transmission adapting.
